Do you remember playing in a playground when you were wee little guys? Of course not. You know why? Not just because you were too young to remember, but because you took play and playgrounds for granted. Almost anyone who grew up in peace does. But in Gaza...
Gaza today: Kids Play in the Rubble
After Israel's offensive on Gaza in the summer 2014, kids live and play as best they can in the rubble of their homes. Almost all Gaza children suffer from the Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Many have become violent or suicidal.
There are many opinions on the conflict, but we can all agree that NO CHILD SHOULD HAVE TO LIVE LIKE THIS! Even the smallest donation helps!
If all the climbers seeing this page donate at least the cost of one large latte this playground will be all set!! PLEASE SHARE WITH YOUR FRIENDS! |
Please help us build 3 small climbing walls for
the new playground in Gaza! Find them in the sketch: Playgrounds for Palestine
Playgrounds for Palestine has built about 30 playgrounds for the kids in
occupied Palestine since 2002, often at the sites of destruction, with local and international volunteers and local labor, in adverse conditions. They give hope to all involved! To find out more visit: http://www.playgroundsforpalestine.org |
MetroRock - Boston, Brooklyn Boulders - NYC and IMCS - North Conway have donated 300+ climbing holds!
THANK YOU GUYS!!! |
